What makes Recovery Derm Shield better than others on the market? Recovery Derm Shield is a light, waterproof composite film bandage comprised of three layers: EVA film (thickness: 0.10mm), matte PU film (thickness: 0.01mm), and glassine (thickness: 0.08mm). The matte PU film, which is the part of the bandage that remains on and protects the skin after tattooing, allows for optimal breathability and ductility when compared to glossy film bandages. Recovery Derm Shield bandages are also latex-free.
This listing is for one pack of 10 Recovery Aftercare Derm Shield bandages. Each bandage or sheet measures 5.9” x 7.9”. We also offer this product as a 5.9” x 8 yard, 7.9” x 8 yard, or 10” x 8 yard roll.

For use after tattoo procedures

Directions for Application: Gently clean and pat dry the tattoo and surrounding area, ensuring there is no soap or any residue on the skin. With clean gloves, remove Derm Shield from the sterile pouch. Cut the Derm Shield to cover tattooed area plus a 1 to 2 inch margin from the edge of the tattoo. Peel off backing to expose adhesive side and position the Derm Shield over the tattoo with the adhesive side facing the skin. Gently apply using light pressure, starting from the center to the edges to eliminate air bubbles. Do not stretch the Derm Shield during application. The first Derm Shield application should stay in place for 24 hours, depending on level of exudation. It is normal for blood and fluids to collect under the bandage.
A second application can be used for several days, and a third application may be used if necessary. Gently clean and dry the area between applications. Do not wear any piece longer than one week.
Directions for Removal: Gently peel the Derm Shield by pulling it slowly from the edge back over itself. Do not pull the bandage upwards.

Insurance Option This option guarantees that your order will be re-shipped at no extra cost if you don’t receive it within three weeks (domestic) or 45 days (international).
Signature Option Shipping carriers can deny any responsibility if your package indicates that it was delivered, but did not reach you. This option protects you and your package from shipping errors and liability. The signature option is available to all United States addresses, both residential and business. For international orders, the signature option is exclusively available to business addresses.
ARE THERE ANY SHIPPING EXCEPTIONS TO BEAR IN MIND?
Delivery estimates upon checkout include a 48-hour processing time. All orders take 24 to 72 business hours to process, fill, and ship.
We do not ship over the weekends or on federal holidays. Orders placed on Friday will be shipped on Monday.
International shipping time may vary depending on the country and customs.
Orders shipped by USPS to Brazil may be held in customs for up to 120 days. If your package is insured, we will re-ship your package after 120 days. If you did not insure your package, your order will not be re-shipped.
If you are in New Zealand and choose FedEx as your carrier, your order may be shipped through UPS depending on the options available at the time of shipment.
We are not responsible for any shipping costs incurred through the Return to Sender process (i.e. if the shipping address is input incorrectly by customer, or the package is rejected at customs).
